Hello, I am Gail,
Hi, I’m Gail, or GB
Hot off the Press: “Echoes of Aether” available now!
Work in Progress: “The Chair”, working on a standalone novel based between London and Cader Idris.
Born and bred in Kent, I moved to South Wales as a supposedly first step on a year around the world.
Then I met this guy. Kept the guy, kissed the travel goodbye.
Since then, I’ve worked, married, had two great kids, you know, the usual. But here’s the thing, I have always written. I don’t remember a time when I didn’t and I can’t foresee a time when I won’t. So I figured it was time to share.
I’ve enjoyed writing, here’s hoping you enjoy what I’ve written.
By the way, I change my name, not because I have anything to hide, but to make a break between genres. I’m GB Williams when committing crime. I’m Gail B Williams when I’m getting laced up with steampunk. And I’m starting to be Gail Barden elsewhere, but you’ll still find a few Gail Williamses creeping in.
Will be attending:
Rhondda Book Fair (01/09/18)
Bloody Scotland (21/09/18)
Aberystwyth Steampunk Weekend (13/10/18)
Bristol LitFest (20/10/18)
SERVICES I CAN PROVIDE
I work for authors in a variety of ways, including ghost writing, re-writing, abridging, and structural editing.
I am happy to work in close collaboration with the author, or strictly behind the scenes.
There are no guarantees in publishing, I’m afraid. Luck – the right editor reading the right outline at the right time – still plays a large part in any writer’s career.
